We went to Cedar Valley with high expectations. The owner, Bill and his son,Troy, we were accommodating when we decided to become seasonal. They helped us set up our camper, and told us about all the great things the campground had in-store for us. Memorial day weekend was nice ,but I was very underwhelmed after a couple of weekends of being up there. Not much for kids to do, unless you want to pay more money for mini golf or for them to bring a guest. We dropped quite a bit of money out there and then decided it really wasn't what we wanted. We notified them that We were going to be pulling our camper out. They told us that we would be issued a refund for our deposit and our tank. It's been a month of run around about how busy they are and yet No one answers the phone or responds to messages left. We were extremely dissatisfied with this business practice. Charging for all kinds of little things, but then when owed a refund you get ignored.
READ THE RULES!!! and you make the call. we stayed 7 days paid 375.0 + 50.00 for wood (read the rules) + 35.00 for one of our friends to come for 3.5 days. The campground is extremely well kept and safe, Bill the owner really keeps a tight ship. As far as a return trip ...I don't see it ever happening. in closing READ THE RULES I really can't stress that enough. Very nice staff. Very nice facilities. Too many seasonal campers acting like they own the place. Very rude campers with too many conflicts as the seasonals act like the rules only pertain to the weekend warriors. A
My family stayed here several times this summer and have enjoyed each visit immensely! The owner is extremely friendly and very eager to ask his guest's advice for improvements! The sites are nicely wooded and clean and not too close to each other. There are many sites right on the river which provides a very tranquil environment! We have never had a bad experience and will continue to camp here very often!
If you have never experienced camping at Cedar Valley campground, you need to give it a try! The moment you arrive at the campground, you will be greeted by an awesome staff with an owner that will make sure you have a wonderful time during your stay. From having a fantastic pub on the grounds to endless activities, there is no shortage of fun to be had. Our kids certainly enjoyed the mini golf, the pool, the use of the volleyball and basketball courts and the arcade games! If you want peace and quiet, the river along the campground is the place to go. I personally loved being there for the tractor pull!!! Great times were had! Thank you Bill and Eileen for making our family feel so welcomed! Your family are very special people to us!!!
